Schwibbogen Candle Arch – Miniature Wooden Kit

A candle arch kit: the Schwibbogen, the traditional light arch from the Ore Mountains, in miniature. Two figures stand beneath the dark wooden arch, with two red and yellow candles on either side. Assembled, it is about 8 cm wide and only 1 cm deep, flat enough for any windowsill.

Eight pieces make the little arch in a few minutes. It is modelled on the large candle arches that stand in the windows of the Ore Mountains during Advent, and needs only a fraction of the space.

How to use it

• as an advent calendar door or a small gift for St Nicholas Day
• as a miniature window decoration
• as a greeting from the Ore Mountains, ideally together with the Christmas pyramid

Made in Germany from local wood, painted with child-safe wood paints and packed in a matchbox. Also included in the Christmas set.
