About the landmark

The City Palace on Wiesbaden's Schlossplatz was built from 1837 to 1841 for Duke Wilhelm of Nassau. For a long time it served the dukes of Nassau as their residence. Since 1946 the Hessian State Parliament has met here. The small coat of arms on the kit is a reminder of this role.
